Managing day to day operations of a 700+ device local area network consisting of 1200+ employees on 3 shifts. Serving as the Deputy Information Security Official ensuring that network systems follow established security standards as well meet Federal HIPPA regulations. Designed and configured a Cisco Firewall solution to meet the operational and security needs of the hospital. Configured Novell and Windows based server platforms to meet the ever changing needs of the facility.

Burke County Public Schools

March 1997 to September 1999

Managed day to day operations of school system’s wide area network. Implemented Frame Relay wide area network of 25+ locations utilizing Cisco routing equipment. Assisted in the network design of two Elementary schools during construction. Developed school system wide website.
